Петричкият инцидент 1925 г. – външнополитически аспекти
Резюме
The paper deals with the foreign and political aspects of the Greek armed aggression against Bulgaria in October 1925 known as the Petrich incident. The main conclusion is that the Incident was quickly settled due to the foreign political conditions at that time and not so much due to the peacemaking capacity of the League of Nations. All factors on the political scene at that time: Great Britain (the main patron of Greece) and the other Great Powers winners of the First World War, the Balkan allies of Greece Yugoslavia and Romania, as well as the Kemalist Turkey, were against a new armed conflict on the Balkans, so the Greek armed action was doomed.
