Albanian Historiography on the Past, Present and Future of Macedonia

This paper considers the main theses of Albanian historiography concerning the history of the Albanian population in Macedonia. 

The historical periods and their interpretation by Albanian historians are presented in connection with the Bulgarian history. For the comprehensive assessment of the problem, the author uses materials from other spheres of the Humanities.  

An analysis is made of the possible political consequences for Bulgaria from the theses of Albanian historiography which are in conflict with the Bulgarian historical science.
