About German-language Edition of “Macedonia” of Vladimir Sis on 1918

In 1918, the Czech journalist and public figure Vladimir Sis published his book on Macedonia, originally published in Czech in 1914 in German, in neutral Switzerland. 

The publication aimed to present to a wide European audience the characteristics of Macedonia in ethnographic, linguistic, educational, cultural and historical terms. Sis pleaded in defense of the Bulgarian national cause and for the accession of Macedonia to Bulgaria.
