Restoration and Activity of the Macedonian Scientific Institute

The article focuses on the activity of the Institute in the first decade of the 21st century. The MSI restored its relations with the Bulgarian emigrants in the New World. A series of brochures were produced and published in English and Russian, and in this way the MSI acquainted the foreign public with the essence of the Macedonian Issue. 

The Institute organized a visit to the Bulgarian Monastery “St. George the Zograf” on Mount Athos, where the entire scientific production of MSI was taken. With this activity the Institute reestablished and stimulated the relations between the Bulgarian and foreign academic societies, with regard to the problems related to the Macedonian Issue.
