(Summary)
The article focuses on Alexandăr Balabanov’s views about current
problems of the Bulgarian literature, culture and social life. His articles
published in his book “In my life” and in the newspaper “Razvigor”
were examined. The topics on which Balabanov reflects are: the
Bulgarian book, readers and writers; the Bulgarian woman and her role
in the society; the specific features of Bulgarian cultural development;
the tasks of the Bulgarian intellectuals; the relations between Bulgaria
and the other countries on the Balkans.
